More X-Men Alumni Join Days of Future Past

IGN:
The cast for the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past is quickly becoming a reunion of epic proportions. Director Bryan Singer tweeted this earlier today:

Very excited to welcome #annapaquin, @ellenpage & @shawnrashmore to #XMen #DaysofFuturePast - thank you @BrettRatner for letting them live!

That adds Rogue (Anna Paquin), Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) to the ever-growing cast of the First Class sequel. Still no word on James Marsden's Cyclops though... he did die off-screen, after all, which is basically like a free pass when it comes to comic books and superheroes.

This is great news...those are some of the best characters of the X-Men movies so I'm happy to see them come back.

doesnt get any better then this right RIGHT? lol

Yeah it does, like maybe having Cyclops would make it better? I hated his "death scene" in X3. Probably won't happen but it would be cool to see Gambit aswell :b

Heavenly King4105d ago

Most people hate Cyclops (including me), that is why he died in that movie.

First class was my favourite XMen

WitWolfy4105d ago

It was decent but has its plot holes here and there.. But decent non the less.

I'm confused. Did X-Men 3 happen or not?

I hope James comes back as Cyclops, if everyone else can come back as their old roles he should be coming back as well.
