I know that concept looks like crap. It will suck if the turtles end up like that.
The premise sounds interesting enough depending on how well written it is. It kinda sounds like a more serious and suspense/mystery filled version of 16 Blocks or SWAT. I'll probably end up renting it to check it out.
What's cool is this is being filmed here where I live. They're renovating this old minor league stadium we have here and everything. I'm gonna have to try to get down there and check it out.
But the point is, there's no realistic scientific way to incorporate the Lazarus Pit - a 'device' which can bring people back from the dead.
Yes, Talia is in this movie and Cotillard is playing her. However, that doesn't really mean that Ra's will be in it. And considering Neeson has said he was only on set for a couple of hours, it's very unlikely he plays a major role like that. That's barely enough time to shoot like one scene/sequence (dependi...
It's always cool to see Liam Neeson, but yeah, I don't expect this to be anything more than a flashback. He even said before that he was only on set for a couple of hours. That's not enough time for him to have a prominent role.
Side note: I just got griped at for posting this on Twitter. They complained that "Liam Neeson is in The Dark Knight Rises" was a MAJOR spoiler lol Bet that person must have lost their shit when it was revealed that Catwoman was ...
I'd say there's no way Nolan goes the Lazarus Pit route. That's just too fantastical for him.
This is awesome news. Personally, I'm glad the all-musical idea never came to fruition as I think that would've sucked. But a proper sequel, I love it. The original is, in my opinion, the best Will Ferrell movie behind only Old School.
I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'll be waiting till Monday afternoon to go see it.
I really enjoyed the Swedish version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. That's part of the reason I've been hesitant to watch Fincher's version. Or maybe not hesitant per se, but just not rushed, since it was only a couple years ago that I saw a really good version as it is. I'll definitely get around to it, though, as it seems it turned out really well, which I admit I had reservations about.
I'll be picking up that one at some point as well. Probably The Muppets too. And I've been hearing about Battle Royale so much lately (nothing but good things) that I already ordered that one. Tinker Tailor I'll end up just getting through Netflix.
Meanwhile, I still need to go pick up The Adventures of Tintin from last week. That's probably the one I want the most right now. Loved that movie.
Seriously, I cannot wait for this movie. Just thinking about it gets me excited like some kid waiting for Christmas. Just a few more months.
Also, I really hope they show up with this movie at SDCC. Should be going back and I would love to see something from TDKR there. If Nolan shows up, I'm going to be like a teenage girl at the Twilight panel lol
I really am expecting some type of early screenings at SDCC this year for this movie, though. Much like the...
Wow. As if "Moon Nazi" wasn't enough to deter me and think this to be garbage, we get this trailer now? Seriously, that looks horrible.
And I don't know how they managed to do, but they take good art design and production quality and manage to make it incredibly cheesy and quite horrible.
I mean seriously, the trailer for this had some pretty cool Nazi base looking effects and production design. But here, those astronauts walking around look...
Eh, I wanna see more of the creature. It's just a mouth and doesn't really give much away, other than I know I wouldn't want to get bit by that thing.
I'm a fan of Oren Peli's work, so I'll definitely check this out at some point (DVD/rental). Appears that it's not found-footage, though (despite the articles confusion). There are several shots in here which give away that the camera isn't being operated by a character (ie the shot into the vehicle when they're all inside, the shot from the building looking down towards them, and a couple others), but definitely has a handycam thing going on. Interesting as I'm pr...
Hermes is the god of trade, travel and athletics. You ever seen the sandal with wings on it? That's his symbol. He kinda played a messenger between the gods and humans. He also led souls to the afterlife.
It's pretty interesting that Fillion is being cast here. Seems like an "odd" choice, just because I wouldn't imagine him being involved with this movie. But definitely makes it interesting. Makes me that much more curious to watch it as well. I actuall...
For the sake of simplicity, I always lump franchises together in lists like this. So Lethal Weapon etc include all the movies not just the first one.
I do think I liked the first Rush Hour best though. But all the Lethal Weapons were good and one of the sequels could be the better one.
Ship has sailed on rebooting this TV series really. I could handle a one-time revisit with a Serenity 2, but I don't think bringing back Firefly would be possible, or even that great of an idea really.
I think he'd do good in a role like this. Could be a nice little change of pace for him too, something a bit different. It's funny, too, because I've thought before that he could make for a nice character on SOA.
I don't think it will rub off on him in that sense. I think he's past that appeal that he used to have. I like him and all, but I think he's past his prime.
Here's how I see it: ever since the whole "Tom Cruise has gone crazy" fiasco, public appeal for him has waned. People are sort of put off by him. I don't see him shaking that stigma. It's only further solidified/justified by him putting out mediocre/crappy movies. Sure he can still have ...
Seems somebody doesn't like the franchise. I've actually enjoyed the movies. I think they're some of the better video game adaptations out there. Always fun to watch, and I'll be checking this one out too.
