that's the ultimate spider-man not the main universe spider-man.

in the ultimate universe, parker's dead, at least for now, so what does it matter what colour the new spider-man is?

they had the green skin, veins and lucha mask in batman and robin, and we all know how that turned out right.

bane isn't just some big guy in a mask, he's the man who broke the bat.
that's the part of bane they need to get right, not what he looks like.

what about clint eastwood and, ah, clint eastwood?

all joking aside, the films i've seen where he's directed and starred have been brilliant films.

ok so it bears little to no resemblence to the game.
but taken as a movie on it's own, it doesn't look too bad to me.

i'll go and see it because it looks like a fairly decent alien invasion movie, not because it's very loosely based on a, sort of, board game.

hell, if a film about a theme park ride can turn out as well as that did, then who knows what could happen.

it could be worse, somebody is making an angry birds f...

looks kinda cool actually, but then i love a good alien invasion movie.
and i'll happily watch a not so good one too.

that's long walk talk round these parts.

i like how it looks like he's wearing a working uniform, not like the one from stallone's film.
if they're even close to the comic book universe, then dredd isn't gonna be spending a lot of time shining his drokking shoulderpads.

i lost a lot of respect for stallone after his dredd film flopped and he started slagging it off.

armand assante as rico was the best thing about that film, well, him and the abc robot.

anyway...

the first person bit was pretty cool.

what i found interesting was that Peter's parents seem to be a feature, we see them before they die and then Peter's given something of his father's.
could they be following the ultimate spider-man origin where the webbing is something his father was working on and he modified it for the webbing.

although i can't see the movies following the death of that spider-man.

from the on set videos i've seen they're doing quite a bit of work with real stuntmen, at least the stuff near street level, obviously there's going to be a bit of cgi when he's swinging between building to building.

i've heard reports that some of the stuff they've got the stuntmen doing is amazing, pardon the pun.

but Robert Downey Jr was bloody magnificent in the role of Sherlock though.

Unicron.

don't bring him in in the first of the new trilogy, have hints in the first two films, maybe a fleeting glimpse right at the end of the second.
but save the ultimate big bad of the TF universe for the finale of the new trilogy.

and tie his origin in with that of cybertron and the transformers like they did in the comics, so the only thing that can hurt him is something from cybertron

the cineworld chain in the uk do something similar, called the unlimited pass.
and handily there's a cineworld cinema 15 minutes walk away from my flat.
15 quid a month and see as many films as you want.
you have to pay £1.50 for 3d films but still, watch more than two or three films a month and it's worth it.

it's like 7 or 8 quid to see a film now.

i don't know the prices for tickets in the us so i don't kno...

looks good.

what do you think the chances are that tom wilkinson's character is the bad guy?

4703d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

seems like they're sending a clear message, charlie sheen will never be coming back.

i agree with catwoman, those other films are all too old for this list though, it's just the last 10 years.

i know batman and robin still haunts many people to this day, so it probably feels more recent, but it was released like 14 years ago.

how the hell is catwoman not on the list?
it should really be number 1 but at the very least it should be on that list.

the spirit did have one thing going for it though, samuel l jackson.

ang lee's hulk movie was ok, but "hulk smash" wins every time. ^_^

it's a shame they couldn't get, or didn't want norton back, because he was bloody good as banner.

but the actor they've got now could do a good job too so i'll reserve judgement till i've seen the film.

catwoman?
you have an article about movies getting comic book characters wrong and there's no mention of catwoman?
