Very interesting in that the film is too intense for young kids and may be too dull for teens.
No, I had to be in AZ today and it was very last minute but we got it covered at least. Gen and I are off to CA in a week so was just to close to another trip and an event.
They make good money on them, cheap to produce so there you go.
Very true. The lack of names really underscores the indie nature.
This might be very interesting, getting a lot of new and indie horror and suspense movies of late.
They touted this at D23 as based on actual new and secret files discovered in the vaults at Disney. They opened a box that had all sorts of odd stuff in it, and the reps said it was authentic and not made up for the movie. As such they tried to figure out what it all was as it had been stored for ages in secret and had two different labels over it. So they decided to craft a film about the mystery of the objects within the box.
I was happy with the premiere. The characters have potential and the artwork is solid.
I am looking forward to this. I worried that it was aimed more at kids but we had two sets of staffers who saw premiere events last weekend who loved it.
I liked the show but wonder how they will balance out not turning it into a crime drama as most of the characters will not turn into the versions of them we know for at least 10-12 years so how long can they string an audience along?
I have added video to the page as well.
Updated with Video and more images now.
I worry that FX and production values will be low but lets hope not.
Doing an awards show for horror films on the studio side as well.
Any ideas as to what we may or may not get next season?
One guy in our press area was being a tool to Orlando. He had been on him for a couple days it seems for interviews and such and wanted pics and so on. Just kept making all sorts of comments and such when we were doing our Q and A. Orlando said he is off to cool off for a second and this guy chimes in getting a 7 UP? You can tell Orlando was annoyed but he stayed cool and said only if I have Vodka in it.
They did a much better job going darker and not making this the same old Boy Scout Captain.
They have had a script kicked around, it just seems stuck in developmental hell.
The sequels were awful. I liked the first film but I thought it was overhyped. The bullet time to me was a one trick pony that they used over and over, and honestly it was not that new and had been used many times prior.
Very true. They let characters drive the action and not the other way around. It is actually more restrained than what you would expect from Bay.
I find I am enjoying the show more than I expected.
I would say the original Prequel had more as there had been a 17 year wait.
