They (Disney) were really insistant that no reviews give away any surprises or specifics in the film. To me it is common sense as why ruin it for people.
I have concerns as studios usually do not ask for partners to give out passes for summer films as there is enough buzz already. But they have big very big on promoting this one from our site, panels, and so on. Mind you it may be just a case of we have passes to give out and may as well have you promote them in various markets but you rarely see top notch films in this promotion category.
He is a poor substitute for Mel. It is like they said hmm lets get a Blake Shelton type for the part.
Agree. I am just tired of all this after show stuff. They are little more than ads for the show and do not really do much as the network will not let them give up to much. They just build hype and pat each other on the back.

That is not the first picture, there have been others leaked and non-leaked.
To me it was like saying what if someone made a SyFy Channel movie with a better cast.
About right so far for him, that is for sure. He had one where he had to break his wife from prison. I watched it on an early AM flight to Hawaii as I had not seen it yet. It passes two hours. That is about all I can say.
Yet others have given it 4/5 and IGN gave it 7/10. So it would seem a decent enough comedy if you like that sort of humor.
I am shocked this did so poorly at the box office as it really was an entertaining and fun film. I think the marketing for the film really was bad. Unless it does well overseas or on home video, the sequekl will not happen.
I also am very curious what the Blu-ray will look like as I am sure there are some really out there scenes and lines that they had to trim to keep it R or not mess up the flow of the film.
It was really a great job by Reynolds and crew as it was clear they not only understood but respected the character and the source material.
We will likely go again next weekend.
We have two e mails from the p.r. firms and 1 from the rep directly which stated 10 PM AZ time tonight and 9PM Pacific is when the embargo is lifted. So unlike the others who posted early, we are in full compliance as we always honor the embargo.
