I'm sure they've seen the reaction to Ghostbusters but I don't think they see it as a backlash. They see the controversy as free publicity since social media can spread news faster and cheaper than traditional ad system can do. Plus it helps that they can easily shrug off the criticisms by calling the naysayers as "sexist misogynists."

Next would be everything they could lay their hands on. How about a Star Trek TV series reboot with an all female main c...

So life does find a way.

The humans seem to be able to control the raptors but the hybrid's ability to communicate with other dinosaurs turned the raptors against the humans(Loki the dinosaur?). The raptors that attacked the armed park rangers have some sort of camera/laser attachment on their heads while the ones that accompanied Chris Pratt doesn't.

All that crammed in a two-, perhaps four-, hour long movie?

Why Jedi are so useless? They can manage their existence for hundreds of years and have hundreds of members but the moment a single Sith and his/her apprentice appear, the Jedi faltered and crushed in an instant.

It makes a good story but it's too much of a recurring theme in the Star Wars Universe that the Jedi looked so incompetent. Perhaps billions of lives would have been saved if there are n...

Now, we wait for the actor playing the Sith to tweet a similar response to those who hate the light sabre with the crossguard.

The interview mentioned genetically-modified(strange since the vanilla dinosaurs themselves were also GM) uber monsters. This reminds me of Dino Crisis 3. We might be seeing raptors with not just Mohawks but sporting all manners of body modifications. Or a T-rex+Raptor+Spino+Triceratops hybrid.

I'm torn whether to watch this one or not. The first movie was a nice story of discovery but now that the humans are destined to die, it'll remind me of Attack on Titan- a bleak end to humans regardless of what they did.

It's almost the counter to Godzilla.

Godzilla has a rather not-so-interesting, crawling and divisive first 3/4 followed by a thunderous ending.

Edge of Tomorrow has an energetic, interesting first 3/4 followed by a slow and divisive ending.

What's up with Tom Cruise's obsession with multiple lives?

First it was Oblivion where there was a spaceship full of clones of his character with deceitful aliens.

Then, there was that rumor of his interest in getting the anime Yukikaze into a live action movie which also has clones and aliens tricking humans.

Now, Edge of Tomorrow where we see versions of him over and over again. With aliens, again.

The music...the voice...the snippet dialog about building an ark...moody atmosphere showing them looking at the sky...hope filled prophetic speech...

I thought it was a prequel for Man of Steel where Jor El tried to get a rag tag group of Kryptons to build a larger space faring vessels to escape their doomed planet.

Jurassic World....sounds like an F2P title. Maybe similar to Disney Infinity where you can buy actual collectible dinosaur figurines with special stats.

Extra scenes in and for China, perhaps?

Sounds like a mix of Jaws 3 and Planet of the Apes 2011 reboot set in a Monsterland (Destroy All Monsters) setting. Our familiar, albeit tamed, favorite theropods becoming the saviour of mankind in this new one.

I wonder if the T-Rex would burst into a chase scene and motioned the terrified humans to come with him if they want to live.

That would make the story much more interesting. But now he reminded me more of Goku from Dragon Ball. An alien baby was cast off to a faraway planet. Then a fellow alien came to bring him home but he refuses because it is against his upbringing (Krytpon's warlike culture and Earth's culture).

Never watched Superman Returns but this new one is in a different class of its own.

How does the Man of Steel shave that beard off? Lex needed a cable cutter to cut Superman's hair in Superman 4.

Have to agree. I wasn't that excited to see The Avengers in the first place. I didn't even know it was already showing. I went to see it only because an old friend (a big Iron Man fan) came to town for a visit.

Glad I did see it. The most enjoyable and satisfying movie experience I ever had.

(Minor point : It still made me wonder though that the SHIELD's huge flying carrier didn't offer any significant backup to the Avengers. I did see a coupl...

Hope they continue where Salvation left off. During the course of 3 movies (and decades) they have been telling us about the heroic struggle by the humans during the post-apocalyptic war so it's about time they get the attention. Tired of seeing people running away. Time to see them fighting back. Time to see the Machines doing the running.

Explore that premise even further. Stop with the notion of a Terminator going back to the 80s. We've seen the Connors beat back ...

So why not let a real Japanese actor play Akira then? Or any other Japanese actors in a movie that involves Japanese characters in a Japanese setting? Memoirs of A Geisha have Chinese actresses playing the lead roles. The live action movie of the anime about street racing, Initial D, have Hong Kong and Taiwanese actors playing the lead Japanese characters. Dragon Ball...well, let's not touch on that one. Keep that one away as far as possible.

Will Kaneda be played by a Japanese (out of respect snd relevance to the material-the story is set in Japan with Japanese characters in it) or a Korean actor (they are more famous and their proficiency in English give them an edge over other Asian actors)?

There seem to be a flood of Korean actors in Hollywood atm, playing every kind of Asians in existence. Surely letting just any Asian actor playing any other Asian characters is as offensive as letting a caucasian play as o...
