So this is finally coming along, eh? I'm very skeptical. I'm one of those fans who actually really liked the original Silent Hill movie, but I just can't get behind this until I see it. I'm pretty pessimistic about it.
They're all fantastic movies, as are the Studio Ghibli films Miyazaki didn't direct. In fact, I'd argue that the greatest film to come out of that amazing studio is Grave of the Fireflies, which was directed by Isao Takahata. It's the greatest movie I never wanna see again. It brought me to tears, which is something I probably couldn't credit even 5 other movies for accomplishing, counting both live-action and anime.

I really can't say I'm excited to see any of those. I suppose that's not too strange, though. I'm not typically a "summer blockbuster" kinda guy. The best movie I'll see this summer will likely be something on Netflix.
Am disappoint that you liked Rock 'n Rolla more than Snatch and Lock/Stock. I thought that was the weakest of the 3. Get more bubbles so you can crap on my list.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of Weeds, I know about the "dark" stuff. The characters are usually more likeable than Dexter's, though. I'll give it that. I can't stand half the cast on that show.
Weeds is too cutesy poo "lolol suburban mom dealer" for me. I didn't go into it expecting The Wire or something, but still.
I think sometimes it actually takes me out of the movie (or game). The Illusive Man in Mass Effect 2 is a good example. Instead of thinking of him as The Illusive Man, I couldn't help but think of Martin Sheen every time he spoke. I prefer no-name voice actors.

Am I the only person who doesn't care for Dexter? I watched the first 3 seasons and that was about 2 seasons more than enough for me. It just seems like... serial killer lite. I have very similar feelings towards Weeds, also.
One of the few movies I'm looking forward to. The first one was really funny. Much better than I had anticipated. Any movie that starts with a Danzig song can't be bad.
