Awesome! If only we had an AMC. -_-
Robin Hood: Men In Tights is probably Brooks' funniest film. I don't know why the critics hated it.
"Better than the first two!" - Roger Ebert (In a review of Home Alone 3)
Why do we still listen to critics?
I hate you.
Edit: I really hate you.
I absolutely LOVE Scott Pilgrim. It's possibly my favorite movie and definitely should have won best movie that year. Either that or Kickass. Both were brilliant, in my eyes.
That being said...the dancing in Step Up 3 was freaking awesome! I didn't see Step Up 1 or 2 because I was never interested in them. I saw Step Up 3 as a joke with a friend. We usually see bad movies for a good laugh, like Jack and Jill. :) I was surprised how much I enjoyed Step Up 3. Yes, the a...
Oddly enough, Will Forte is the only part that felt flat.
Awesome. I love Netflix and I'd love for it to keep growing.
Definitely a great choice. My favorite episode was the two-part episode with Brendan Fraser.
Just thinking about Spirited Away or Grave of the Fireflies makes me cry. Absolutely brilliant.
It will gain a big gaming audience, for obvious reasons...
Just saw it. Not bad, actually. An enjoyable film. Very short though. It lives up to the series, but doesn't really add much.
I do agree with Hitchcock though. He should have won at LEAST three for Psycho, Vertigo, and The Birds.
And Crash beat Brokeback Mountain because Brokeback Mountain wasn't a very good film. There are much better films out there dealing with homosexuality. If anything, the film was overrated.
#1 - James Newton Howard not winning for The Village OR King Kong.
WHAT. A. JOKE.
Maybe you should make a good film before retiring?
American Graffiti and Star Wars may have your name on them, but dude...that was ALL other people. (The good parts, at least.)
30 Rock is Alec Baldwin trying to impersonate Leslie Nielsen and failing miserably. :/
Community is the best comedy on television. I like Modern Family, Parks and Rec, The Office, etc...but NO show gives you as many laughs as Community. NO show has the writing Community has.
It's like Arrested Development all over again.
Very true. :)
Thank you! I've honestly stopped discussing films with most people.
This goes for any industry, but it seems the film industry has been hit the hardest.
Matthew Vaughn directed Xmen: First Class.
Matthew Vaughn.
How could it POSSIBLY have been a bad movie?!?
Why did it get a 2/4?!? Even after reading the review, I don't understand. It looks gorgeous in 3D. I saw it in theaters and picked up the 3D blu-ray for my home. It looks phenomenal on both my tv and in theaters. I don't understand a 2/4.
...and here I was hoping for Jack & Jill 2.
*sigh*
