what if i told you captain marvel only had the number of viewers it did because people thought it was integral to the story before avengers endgame released.
had we known she was only going to be in endgame for 15 mins and contribute nothing but a grand entrance im sure half of the people that watched captain marvel would've skipped it altogether.

Heath ledger joker was only in the movie for 30 minutes in a 2h 32m movie and he was legendary from the first time you seen him.

what was once a company that was built on originality and gave creators freedom to do what they do best and to be innovative has turned into a money hungry, corporate greedy, minimal improvement kind of company.
i have faith in J.J Abrams...but have major doubts about james gunn.
lets just hope some high quality movies come out of this and pray that WB execs stay far away from it as well.
its hollywood, botching the story is a given. not to mention, the studio thinks they could rewrite the story better than the original writers of the comics....which clearly they cant. but hey, they have the money to do as they please.
actually, morpheus isn't needed as much now all things considered.
Neo believes he is the one. Morpheus character arc of finding, training and making him believe he is the one to make peace between man and machine is complete.
would be nice to have him in the movie though but its not a make or break thing.
Edit: i would rather be hoping that Hugo Weaving makes a return.

what if i told you brie larson made captain marvel about as interesting as broccoli. her "acting" is mediocre as well compared to the whole marvel cast (male and female) thus far. not to mention she takes credit for other peoples hard work like her stunt doubles by claiming she did all her own stunts. yeah...thats someone we should all like and look up to right...otherwise we just hating on women.
