I have friends who totally discredit Haute Tension just because of the ending. It didn't make any sense at all. Yeah, I agree Descent's US ending was pure bullshit and after I saw it in the theaters I immediately watched the original ending on youtube.

Not bad this year. Too bad they took off An American Werewolf in London and Scream 4. I ran through Scream 1-3 last week since I haven't seen them in forever only to notice that they got rid of 4.

Well, Mulholland Dr. was a failed TV pilot with added extras shot after the show wasn't picked up. Since it was supposed to be the beginning of a continuing story, It's not supposed to feel complete but I still am extremely satisfied with it as a film. Dune was pretty much raped from Lynch by the studios and didn't allow him final cut. The name of the actor in Step Brothers is Adam Scott. He was also in a great comedy TV show called Party Down and is currently on Parks and Recreation. I'd think he'd be great for the role of young Jobs as well.
