...And now, she moves up a rank...
Yeah. Ca't really see a Padawan acting so indirectly.
Better yet, why not set the Little Mermaid in Africa or China? Set Aladdin in modern New York or even something like Sleeping Beauty in Los Angeles?
Actually, just recalled that HBO did an animated series that retold classic stories in modern day, different settings and other countries. Just remember the name.
I don't consider semi-palatable "decent". Realized I was watching New Hope 2/3 first viewing and, where I saw how things connected in NH, the more I think about TFA the more I find plot issues with it. Like how did Po pop up from nowhere after the TIE crash. Haven't bothered with TLJ because of the argument around it, and its defender's stance of "because its SW its good" just doesn't fly. I'm done with it.
But what do you mean by "dark"? Fighting to protect innocent people, or just surviving in a broken dystonia because fundamentally you couldn't do the job?
Would like to see a "mature" Power Rangers where you're doing some good and have to deal with your actions, but could really do without the constant dark and gritty most PR re-imaginings aim for.
Its primary goal is an attempt to tell a story rather than preach a message?
Nowadays? More like six months if not sooner.
In light of Jason Mamoa not doing the role, this is a good second choice.
Don't think there are any Marvel characters who can move worlds by themselves.
Surprisingly, DC lost that lawsuit. Marvel - somehow - filed for the rights first.
Sine when? Think she took out a fleet on her own, but that was after becoming Binary.
Cyborg's been moved to DC's "main roster" and as a disabled character who was originally used to normalize disabilities, generally presented disabled people as "people" to the mainstream, will be sorely missed.
Neither does Teen Titans Go nor the first TT cartoon. Still they found their audiences over the complaints of the "original" fans of the comics.
That said, given the trailer, personally I'm giving the show a wide birth. Marking it as a negative towards bothering subscribing to DC where Young Justice and all of the other animated stuff are positives. Unfortunately, since they legitimize "Titans" by default.
Because DC and Warner Brothers have only made good and decent superhero movies.
Possibly because the CW has most - all - of their creative TV talent?
Not with that beard.
Not even -dare I say- with a mustache.
How isn't that just going to do more harm than good?
By the mega-spoiler in the commercials - without spoiling anything if you've managed not to see them - yes, its that bad. By what's given away, the only way the movie could have been saved was if things had been done *EXTREMELY* well. And apparently they weren't.
The real kicker, unless other reviews scored it better, is that apparently Cameron gave this his approval. Something which will likely bite him on his rump.
have you seen the series that it was suppose to be based on? The one it overly compressed and special effects it minimized?
Would rather he just be a figurehead, an idea man's who doesn't have complete authority, given that he did hand it off after the Prequels.
