Why is this movie being made in 3D? Are Hollywood running out of ideas? What could possibly be in 3D in this movie? Aside from Rose's hard nipples or people falling off the boat?

The only way this would work is if they go away from the "dark themes" like the Batman movies and go more towards actual comic themes like Marvel is doing.
I might be the only one but I love the Marvel moves a lot more than DC movies. I don't like the Batman movies because they are too dark and realistic where as Iron-Man, Hulk and The Avengers are real colorful and best represent the actual comics.
The batman films have absolutely NO supernatur...

I know a lot of people would be upset if it were to different from the original SM movie but the thing is it's allowed to be different because it's set in a different part of the Marvel Universe.
Then again, your average movie goer wouldn't know that unless they are hardcore into comics such as myself. :p
Even if it were completely different from the other movies it wouldn't matter because these movies are based in different Marvel Universes. The Amazing Spider-Man movie is taking place in the Earth 616 universe.
Movie is going to suck.
Too bad Dark Knight is a crime thriller where as The Avengers is a comic book movie.
The reason I say this is because the Marvel movies come off to me as more comic based. There are more supernatural things going on such as people with actual superpowers like flying, hulking out, shooting web etc.

I couldn't care less. I'v seen and own every Superhero movie out. I might be the only one who like The Incredible Hulk but then again, I love anything Hulk related. Iron-Man, Cap, Thor have all been really great movies and were fun to watch.
Even if they don't do well they are doing something no other movies have done and that's complete cross-overs that are tied into one another to make for one hell of a movie next summer.
