From the trailer it's essentially 'Comedy Buddy Cop Movie in Swimwear'.
Pretty big take off from "just not into her" to then go straight to "the movie will bomb".
I mean, that's like saying "I'm just into Sci-Fi movies. Star Wars will bomb."
Okay, that Yogi Bear 3D one could just be bears filming an amateur porn movie...
Now that I've let that sink into your mind, "Exit, Stage Left" *meow*
Meh. I think the only mind-blowing thing about it will be it's no the usual Marvel/DC movie. Critics saw what happened with Deadpool and are waiting on the next thing like it to spread praise everywhere, IMHO.
I got a huge overtone of "strength doesn't make right" with regards to government abuse of power, to be honest. While it doesn't say who the main enemies are, it's the main tone of the movie as far as I can tell.
Meh. They rarely bother me.
Looks and feels like a SyFy presentation.
Very surprised Merced rated this so highly. I found it as generic and boring as Dads, which he rated very differently.
The writing in this also bothered me. The father of the daughter is a doctor, yet his mother is the one to suddenly remember the newly pregnant daughter isn't allowed on the roller coaster?
I'd give it a C, but really wasn't anything new or noteworthy.
Too many remakes in Chinese kung fu now. We need something new and fresh. I'd even call it worse than Hollywood as far as remakes being abused.
Found it pretty much like I do TBBT, a lot of jokes and stuff I've seen on the Internet almost every day thrown in with annoying dads who aren't funny, just painful to watch.
The dads are essentially the Odd Couple with their kids as boundaries.
Dunno, did you see Pacific Rim?
To be honest, people can get crazy about who is in what role. I'm sure the guys from Twilight had bodyguards for a while.
It wasn't bad. It was better than SNL at least.
I did like that the "uptight captain" remained stern and still put a few jokes in (manscaping, humiliation, etc.).
I'm worried that Terry Crews will be held back way too much in this series when he should be set free to be himself. He's great at physical comedy, and I didn't see that in the first episode. Felt like he had a leash on him the whole time.
Just wish we had a new trailer already.
Agree. Very sad to see the long wait to see how they resolve the ending of Season 2.
Wait wait wait... Les Misreables isn't the biggest event of the year? I call shenanigans!
Released in February of 2010 means filmed in 2009... and since filming hasn't begun yet in 2012... it's likely to be almost exactly 3 years from the last time they filmed.
Thank you for the explanation. I figured this was done in a style specific to the movie, so it does make me feel a bit better. I get it's done on purpose, but it still hurts my head a bit and I end up having to look up what stuff means. Such as "248", which I'm assuming is a reference to the Oakland area code?
I guess it would be similar to me forcing someone who doesn't geek all geek references to watch (or read in the same style) a movie (or revie...
It's been three years and they haven't started filming yet. IMHO, that's a lot of time considering the books are back to back, not with a lot of time in between.Especially if they ever have plans to do more than just two movies. It's not like Harry Potter where the story evolved over almost a decade.
Alexandra Daddario is now 26.
Logan Lerman is luckily only 20, but looked older even in the Three Musketeers movie.
Just seems...
