The Walking Dead Review: "When the Dead Come Knocking" [Geek Binge]

Geek Binge: Even though I sort of did it last episode, I thought it would once again be appropriate to compare The Walking Dead Season 3 with Season 2 of the series at the same point. In the penultimate episode before the midseason finale last year, not a lot happened. Sure, Lori finally revealed that she slept with Shane, and decided not to abort her recently discovered child. But as set up, it really didn’t show what was to come about in the (pretty lackluster) midseason finale. Thankfully, “When the Dead Come Knocking” is a MUCH better set up episode than “Secrets.” Even then though…it’s still just a set up episode.

Good set up episode for what should be a kick-ass midseason finale. Governor's officially a creep now.

Dang filler episode lol, its times like this I miss the short seasons. :P

Next episode is looking to be awesome! Hopefully Andrea and the Governor quit be boring then.

SPOILERS

Also look at all the clues stacking up making this seem like its going in favor of rick completely.

Visually they are making the little town and Governor seem stronger and better. Yet listen to what people say and do.

- Their "best" bow and arrow person couldn't hit a target ten feet in front of her.

- Michonne says "they are a bunch of wannabe military people"

-The group Merle took was nervous and scared the entire time.

There are a bunch of quick little clues like that everywhere. I think Merle and the Governor are the only ones Rick needs to worry about.

yeah they seem suprised they cleared out an entire prison for the most part which is little odd considering their weapons stock is more then capable of bombing the whole place if need be lol

They just stop thru the holidays and come back in late January or February I think.

@Soldierone

This last episode made me a nervous wreck. I thought Glenn was a dead man for sure. Now I'm so worried about the ones that were left at the prison by themselves. They're going to leave us hanging....aren't they?

Soldierone4182d ago

I think they will. I'm sure SOME closure between Rick and The Governor will happen, but Ricks group ultimately will be begging for mercy at the end of the episode. Just to keep you excited lol
