Top 10 Buddy Cop Comedy Movies

CPC:
This week sees the release of 21 Jump Street, a buddy cop comedy starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. Buddy films have been around for a while, dating back to the silent era. In the 30s, Abbott and Costello & Laurel and Hardy were highly popular. Pretty good list, I wouldn't have thought of including Turner and Hooch.

Though I would have replaced Lethal Weapon and Rush Hour with Lethal Weapon 2 and Rush Hour 2.

For the sake of simplicity, I always lump franchises together in lists like this. So Lethal Weapon etc include all the movies not just the first one.

I do think I liked the first Rush Hour best though. But all the Lethal Weapons were good and one of the sequels could be the better one.

I'm glad you included the tv shows on there too because those were some good ones. They show I Spy on late night tv now and I watch it sometimes when there is nothing else on.

I would have put Tango & Cash in over Men in Black. On the premise that despite T&C not even being that good they are at least cops and thats what the list is built on. :)
