CB - Hollywood has mined Greco-Roman mythology quite a few times over the years, with results ranging from the classic (Clash of the Titans), to the unnecessary (the Clash of the Titans remake), to the unfortunate (Troy, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief). While this past fall's Immortals didn't fare too well amongst the press, it still generated some positive buzz and has since taken in over $200 million worldwide. I still haven't seen it, but given Tarsem Singh's involvement as director and some cool-looking trailers, I'm looking forward to switching my brain off and enjoying it on Blu-ray. Now I have a date I can mark on my calendar for just that: Immortals is coming to 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 6th. (Actually, I better mark it down for a few weeks later; that's the same day Mass Effect 3 comes out...)
Don’t let the cringey awkwardness of The Office fool you: Michael Scott would actually be the perfect boss.
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
Despite the lack of updates from Marvel Studios and Disney, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu says the sequel to the successful 2021 movie is still happening.
I'm thinking about getting this movie but I didn't see it. Can anyone tell what they thought about it. Was it as awesome as 300 or just give me an idea of it being on a scale of 1-10.
I don't normally buy period epic movies unless they are really great and I know I'll watch them again. Most of my collection I know I'm going to sit down one day and say...I want to see that today and just watch a movie again.
