The superhero movie is generally an automatic blockbuster these days. You'd think the backlash would've started by now, but the nerds that generally start backlashes tend to love comic books, so we may be getting these for a while. Too bad Dark Knight is a crime thriller where as The Avengers is a comic book movie.
The reason I say this is because the Marvel movies come off to me as more comic based. There are more supernatural things going on such as people with actual superpowers like flying, hulking out, shooting web etc.
Batman is just a guy in an advanced costume. You could say the same about Iron-Man but he would destroy Batman. His suit is much more advanced. He can fly, shoot repulsars and all kinds of stuff. He's also much more comical.
Not saying the Batman movies aren't good. They are but in my mind the Marvel movies will be way better because they aren't as "dark" as DC. Just my 2 cents.
good list. however i think watchmen and blade should be included in the top 10 instead of catain america and rocketeer
