I've watched this a few times now. Every time I find more things I like and more that I dislike too. It's kind of weird.

I don't like how clean everything looks at the district. Gale and Katniss in the forest should be grimy and dingy. It's a post-apocalyptic world in which they have to struggle for food and too survive. It doesn't look like they're that affected.

Other than that, I'm still digging the other characters and overall tone.

I'm in love with Jennifer Lawrence.

Hmm maybe I should've continued reading this book. Could only get about 20 pages in.

You should have....I got all 3 in this summer and they were great and I can't wait until the movie now.

I think what put me off was the first person narration. I don't mind it when it's retelling what happened to a character but first person as things progress is kind of annoying to me. I don't want to be that far into someone's head.

Never read the books, but this does look like it could be really interesting. At the same time, though, there are elements that make me think it could turn into some type of uninspired, lackluster movie. It will definitely be something I look out for, though.
