TGE:
One of the most interesting things we learned about Fring this episode is that his name is not actually Gustavo Fring, and, not only that, but he apparently comes from a very important Chilean family -- though political or cartel-linked we cannot yet be sure, but at any rate his identity was enough to save him from getting his brains sprinkled in a Mexican swimming pool...On that point, we got to see tonight Fring's origins in the meth game, the backstory on his relationship with the cartel, and with the vile Hector, aka the bell-ringing Tio (who is another fantastic villain, but in a totally different way).
