Nice write up, as always. I've only seen bits and peices of these movies but that's ok, I am far more entertained by the scathing reviews.

Haha, thanks man!

As a rule of thumb, and I'm sure you'll agree with me, it's always better to avoid dropping hard cash ($10+) than ponying it up for a movie that critics are almost-uniformly panning.

But, as a sterling example of live-action 3-D, I'd encourage you to check it out. The visual composition is mighty impressive. Just shut your brain off for about 3 hours.

I saw it 2D and it was pretty good that way. I wasn't disappointed in the action scenes at all. I was however disappointed in the new girl.....running in 5inch heals in all that chaos and mess....give me a break!
