TV Line: House fandom, brace for impact: Dr. Cuddy is checking out.
Lisa Edelstein — whose long-term contract expires this month — has opted not to return for the show’s eighth and likely final season.
Opening for Michael Scott. =P
I'd laugh so hard seeing Carell in the hospital. He needs to pull out of his promising film career to guest star on this show. In all seriousness this is pretty disappointing. I liked Edelstein on the show a lot but I hated when her and house are romantic. I like when they're at each other's throats.
While I've been out of the loop on House for a couple seasons now, I did always like her as well. I didn't see the bits with her and House romantic with each other. I think that was just beginning to start when I stopped watching.
Yeah that's basically why I haven't watched anything this past season. The premier was a 60 minute love fest of them kissing and holding onto each other inside a bathtub. I plan on watching the season start to finish pretty soon here but yeah it turned me off big time.
STOP GOING ON FILMWATCH AND BUY WITCHER 2.
STOP PLAYING WITCHER 2 AND BUY ME WITCHER 2.
Sad but it would blend into the story the way it's been going so if she does leave they already have a good script ready to write.
No.. she was the only thing that was keeping me with it.. noooooooo!
I think the show will be over after the 8th season ends. I think most of the contracts are up then...aren't they?
That really sucks. I liked her on the show.
House is a good show, I still really enjoy it, and I hope they can end strong. It's too bad they couldn't do that before characters started signing off.
That's not ood show popularity will go down :/
what a bitch.. there was only one season left..
I hate to see her go. She one of the main people that makes the show good. I don't think the show is going to last past this next year but we'll see.
If you think about it...her character job was always just taking care of House or cleaning up after him. I don't think she felt like her part had any real substance. She did the same thing every week.
