Sequels are usually not worth the price of admission, but the following are sequels which Matt’s Movie Reviews would pay good money to see.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
I laughed at The Passion, American Gangster and The Departed sequels.
Give me a break.
I'm not crazy about all sequels but I would love to see Joss Whedon do another Serenity....I even have a story line in mind for him if he was ever remotely interested.
I'm such a big fan of his. I watched Buffy and Firefly and still do with the season sets every year, once a year. Never was much of an Angel fan but I like him on Bones now...don't know why.
Now that Joss Whedon is working on the Avengers and I believe he was suppose to have some projects going with JJ Abrams too unless that's part of it. Who knows...maybe someday he'll get back to the old "Dr.Horrible Sing Along", Firefly, fun stuff.
I could definitely see a sequel for The Fighter. Wahlberg has been floating this idea since he realized the enormous critical and commercial success of his film. Also, the film ended right before Ward's boxing career really started to take off, especially, the epic trilogy of his bouts with Gatti. I'd pay again to see those fights re-imagined on film.
After watching The Fighter I immediately watched the Gatti/Ward fights on Youtube. Nice bookend to the movie.
And as far as the Anchorman movie goes, I'm all for it but I'd really like to see them include John C. Reilly's character, Steven J. Brule.
