Showtime announced today that they will be renewing their two freshman series for a second season. Both Shameless and Episodes will come back for another season after having highly successful freshman appearances.
The hour-long drama Shameless, starring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum, received an order for 12 new episodes for its second season. Meanwhile the half-hour comedy Episodes starring Matt LeBlanc received an order for an undetermined number of episodes.
