Cinema Blend:
J.B. Smoove is having one hell of a 2011 and we're only three days in. Earlier today the Curb Your Enthusiasm actor and former Saturday Night Live writer had a sitcom pitch picked up by Fox and now he's landed another movie role. Snuck in at the end of a report by Variety, Smoove will play a part in Cameron Crowe's We Bought A Zoo, which already sports an amazing cast that includes the likes of Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Patrick Fugit, Thomas Haden Church, Elle Fanning, and Angus MacFadyen. In the film, Damon plays a recently widowed father who fulfills his dead wife's wish of buying a zoo in the English countryside. Thanks to the brevity of the announcement, it's unknown what role Smoove will be playing.

That definitely is quite a cast. I'll have to keep an eye out to see more about this one.
Smoove is pretty funny. I think he was one of (if not THE) funniest parts of Date Night.
