Its not a Punisher TV show. Its a political action thriller. There isn't anything really Punisher about it other than his name is Frank Castle which is already a generic name. He wore the skull vest for about 30 seconds in the beginning and 30 seconds in the last episode.

You have to know its just a begining now we goign to see that vest a lot for sure and more to his side of story a lot more than u can imagine.

The first Punisher movie was good for it's time, while the 2nd was crap. Daredevil season 2 already did the whole family dying backstory, so they tried to flesh him out a bit more. There's only so far you can go with him killing bad guys for no over arcing reason. Trying to stay low key and out of things, but gets pulled back in. He's brutal as hell in the fight scenes (Surprised how far they went seeing as it has Marvel / Disney behind it. Was more like HBO violence than a regular Marvel one), as well as showing off his military tactical training.

He's not gonna be 1 and done, he'll be back again. Be glad he came out this good and wasn't like Iron Fist.
