Alien: Covenant goes on general release this week (next week in the US), and while it does have some excellent moments, it’s also kind of a mess. Containing multiple revelations about what happened after Prometheus, as well as a couple of big lore drops for the overall series, it also raises multiple questions, not all (or even many) of which get answered by the end of the movie.
