"Star-Crossed" wasn't a particularly strong installment of Supergirl Season 2. While it's great to see Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo joining the cast, this episode didn't seem overly interested in exploring either character. Instead, the focus stayed mainly on Kara's fraying romance with Mon-El (good) and Winn's own romantic struggles (less good). Hopefully the show will take better advantage of the Daxam Royal Family once Kara returns from musical purgatory.
Does the ultra-violent new movie, Boy Kills World, glorify violence or encourage a world without it? We see the latter.
