The kid was originally obnoxious, parroting racist comments he'd heard from his family and hating Julio because he was Hispanic.
But in the little time he was on, Julio became so protective of him that losing Mark hurt viewers as much as it hurt him.

The ending to this 3 parter had it's satisfying parts and it's sad parts and cliffhanger as usual too. Buzz had worked so hard to find his father's killer from 30 years ago but finding him didn't give him the satisfaction that he thought it would causing him to leave 2 kids without a father. Julio seems to never catch a break....I had tears in my eyes when he had to say goodbye to Mark ( I hope he gets him back). The cliffhanger, Andy is having a heart attack at the end.
