On this episode of Collider Movie Talk (August 3rd, 2016) Mark Ellis and the panel discuss the petition against Rotten Tomatoes over 'Suicide Squad' reviews
The Idea of You Review: Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine's electric chemistry is thoroughly enjoyable in simple, fluffy romantic film.
Heeramandi Review: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic is a mesmerising watch, filled with revenge and the struggle for love and power.
Fiasco Review: This series is weirdly good at making you laugh and roll with its absurdity.
Saw this last night, it is definitely a 6.5 out of 10.
Much better than BvS but not by much. DC movies always feel rushed and this one has the same feeling. If I were to compare it to a marvel movie I would say it's up there with the first Thor or Cap movie, not great but not bad.
The thing that bugs me is that not all Marvel movies are good either. I mean come on, Iron man 3? Yet fans and reviewers will go to the end of the earth to defend them. A mainstream reviewer calls it what it is, and there is a huge wall of people calling them stupid.
Take Marvel off and put on DC, that same reviewer calls it what it is and there is a huge wall of "yeah, DC sucks...." what?
