Lionsgate has announced its 2016 Cannes Film Festival sales slate, billing it as the studio’s biggest yet, comprising eight titles. Leading the pack is Now You See Me 3, the third in the series about the Las Vegas heist magicians The Four Horseman. Part 2 in the patriots dayfranchise hits theaters on June 10, spurred by the 2013 title that minted $351.7M worldwide.
In addition, there’s Patriots Day about the manhunt that followed the Boston Marathon bombing. That pic, which reteams director Peter Berg with Mark Wahlberg after Lone Survivor ($154.8M worldwide) and Lionsgate’s upcoming Deepwater Horizon (September 30), opens December 21. Summit Entertainment/Black Label has the firefighter action drama No Exit, with Josh Brolin and Miles Teller.
