Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3 were both pretty disappointing. The Thor movies are kind of meh as well. DC's last movie may have been 2013, but now they have at least one slated for each year until 2020, and loads of their past movies were trash. Green Lantern, Jonah Hex, and even Man of Steel wasn't great. I don't think the quality has stayed steady, I think Marvel in particular has gotten into the habit of making too many damn jokes and quips instead of focusing on a solid plot with interesting character development. DC just doesn't know how to show origin stories on the big screen for anything except Batman. They're both great studios and I love a lot of their movies, but I'm skipping new releases more and more because the market is becoming saturated.
