The Last Ship VR Experience Heading to Comic-Con

2014’s San Diego Comic-Con was one of the first events to showcase the marketing potential of virtual reality (VR) technology. A number of companies used the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) to promote upcoming TV shows and movies, including the DVD release of X-Men: Days of Future Past and Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacific Rim. That trend looks set to continue at this year’s event, which runs from 8th – 12th July, as TNT will be bringing a new VR experience to the show based on one of its ongoing series, The Last Ship.
