While I appreciate the attempts at finally picking up the pace, the rhythm in this episode feels rushed to a fault. I’m feeling pretty cynical, but the pacing on this season as a whole has been awful. Lesser aspects of the story unfurled at a snail’s pace, but more intense story elements (i.e. Roy’s incarceration/faked death/escape) were resolved in a heartbeat. Honestly, I’m not looking forward to where this last episode is going to take us, but I at least hope I can be pleasantly surprised.
