EB: HBO’s Game of Thrones continues to distance itself from Martin’s novels with the latest episode, which is titled, “Kill the Boy.” Once again this episode offers a much different take on many of the plot threads featured in the books, and in my opinion things are going down hill due to the alternate take on the events featured in books four and five of the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise. Maybe I’m alone in my displeasure of Game of Thrones’ fifth season, but it just hasn’t had the same feel as the first four seasons, and the many changes that have been exhibited to the source material leave me feeling worried for the final few seasons, which will be filmed without a complimentary novel to stick to.
