IGN: This week's Community was a highly entertaining episode that was both funny and had a nice emotional beat at the end.
The idea of Chang becoming a (very brief) star was amusing in and of itself, but it was how the Greendale gang reacted that really set the story in motion. Their alliance with a low rent producer (Steve Guttenberg) who encouraged them to use some footage Abed had shot of Chang to capitalize on his celebrity was a great way to kick off a new “Greendale gang in costume” scenario, as they made an incredibly cheesy, low budget movie. The fact that they had so little to work with in terms of Chang footage and that he was sitting in all of (and on the phone in much of it) only added to the bizarreness of what followed, as the hero of this movie was constantly walking into a tense situation and sitting down – and had a ray gun that needed to be held to his ear to work.
