TV Equals: "12 Monkeys pulled back the curtain on a lot of events in tonight’s episode, with everything from Cole’s trip to 1987 to Jennifer’s commitment being viewed through a new lens. And if I’d questioned the threat of the Army of the 12 Monkeys before “Shonin,” putting Ramse at the head of the organization and showing their activities through the decades definitely legitimized them. Ultimately, though, this episode could easily have been called “How Ramse Got His Groove Back,” given who was the clear MVP of the hour."
