TVF:
Kurt Sutter is following up Sons of Anarchy with a 14th century period piece, The Bastard Executioner.
Sutter created the series and will serve as Executive Producer. FX announced the cast today, with plenty of surprises.
Among them is casting a relative unknown, Lee Jones, in the title role, as well as a Sutter himself taking on a major role on screen in the production. Stephen Moyer will star in his first significant role post True Blood opposite Katey Sagal, who has been cast as the female lead.
The Bastard Executioner tells the tale of a warrior knight in King Edward I's charge who is broken by the ravages of war and vows to lay down his sword. But when that violence finds him again, he is forced to pick up the bloodiest sword of all.

Don’t let the cringey awkwardness of The Office fool you: Michael Scott would actually be the perfect boss.
