Like i've been saying, until they replace the character and get a new following they cannot kill him. It would be stupid business wise, it would be stupid story wise, and it would just kill the show.
Through 4 seasons we get it, anyone can and will go. You have another side of the story to tell though....

They were crazy enough to kill almost all the old characters from the show, so they are crazy enough to kill Rick and Daryll and destroy the entire series like this, so...
