10 Problems With The Walking Dead Nobody Wants To Admit

WC

Sitting pretty atop the current renaissance of TV dramas (despite, somewhat paradoxically, being a genre show – what with all the zombies – compared to the usual serious business crime stuff like The Wire and The Sopranos), The Walking Dead is unparalleled when it comes to viewership, fandom and critical notices. "The Spin-Off Is A Bad Idea"

Course it is because the idea sucks.

Nobody wants to see three "Carls" as main characters when we can't even stand the one. Not to mention it's set in the US still when they could of went to England instead for a new setting.

My problem with it is that the comics were so good nothing needed changing. Yeah comic book fans might not want to see the same things played out on screen but you have to understand it would be for us, it's for a new audience. I'd rather of seen the episodes stick as closely to the comics as possible.

Shanes/Dales actual deaths

Lori and Judith getting shot (maybe they could of changed this to Carl)

The Governor done right

The Prison assault being more dramatic and tragic.

I loved the idea of the spin-off until it got played out. Not just the story either, people were excited because it could fill the gaps when the regular show is not airing... and then they make it air at the same time....
