In the final instalment of Peter Jackson’s film adaptations of The Hobbit, The Battle of the Five Armies ends the viewers time in Middle Earth in an action-packed way and much like its predecessor, it jumps in with action from the very beginning. You still have a little under three hours to sit through, but it’s definitely not a waste of time, at least if you’re there for the action.
