Werewolf movies have had a great Hollywood tradition, but recent years have not been kind to their ilk, thanks in large part to “That Film Series That Shall Not Be Named.” Even attempts to revive classic werewolf films falter, like 2011’s The Howling Reborn, which was such a sappy teenage love story that it needed to be taken behind the shed and shot with a silver bullet.

Thankfully, horror fans can take heart that Wolves puts the cinematic legacy of werewolves back on track somewhat.
