I hope this is not true, simply because I think Josh Holloway would be not be a good choice for Aquaman. Though I would give him a fair chance, same as I am doing with Affleck and Gadot.

IMO, Charlie Hunnam would be the perfect Aquaman.

I like Hunnam for that role too.

Personally, I think Ubisoft should ride the wave of success with the Assassins Creed series and make the first movie about Edward Kenway and have Hunnam in that role. Whenever I see Kenway on my TV, I can't help but think he needs to be in that role.

I found Charlie pretty dull in Pacific Rim. Not sure if he can handle the complex role of being King of Atlantis. A man who literally has control of %75 of Earth. Not sure if Hunnam can do that. But that's just me I could be wrong.

Also i never saw Lost so i'm not exactly sure what Josh Holloway's range is. Who knows.

@Crazay Above

Haha i can totally see Charlie as Edward!

I agree that Hunnam was pretty dull in Pacific Rim, but then again, so was everybody else. Even the always awesome Idris Elba, was a bit dull. Just watch Sons of Anarchy and you'll see a bit of potential for him to play Aquaman.

I know I'll be blasted for this(not necessarily by you, but by someone)but I think he should even keep his natural accent for the role.

you must admit though, Aquaman is the worst superheroe ever conceived his costume reeks

xXBlondieVanHarlowXx3762d ago (Edited 3762d ago )

reeks of fish? lol. Yes Aquaman is a bit cheesy but with a bit of an overhaul can work on screen. Think Game of thrones (- the bzillion sex scenes) but underwater. In an underwater city like rapture from Bioshock.

When most people think Aquaman, they see a man in tights floating around in underwater sand castles & murmuring into dolphins ears. Amirite? lol

Also i think the long haired Aquaman with the harpoon hand looked pretty badass. I'd be really curious to see what Snyder would do with his costume. He managed to un-cheese Superman's suit.

markte3760d ago

How is Aquaman any worse of a superhero than Batman or Spider-Man? Or pretty much ANY other superhero for that matter.

Scrivlar3762d ago

Aquaman is a bit of a shit hero anyway. Doesn't matter who plays him.

they are really trying to bank on the Avengers success, looks like The Justice League will come out face to face with Avengers Phase 3

Porcelain_Chicken3762d ago

Actually a Justice League film was scrapped back in 07'. And Batman Vs. Superman has been on hiatus for a while. So that's like saying Blade (1998) tried to bank in on the success Superman (1978). Not trolling xD Just pointing that out LOL

cell9893760d ago

IM sorry but that is trolling. DC would have never got the balls to do this if not because Marvel took the huge risk Avengers Phase one was. Once they took notice of the great success, now theyre full on schedule to do the same thing with their characters. B4 Avengers it was a nerds wet dream to see more than one superhero franchise on the same movie at the same time, now its a reality and its awesome. Dont get me wrong Im super exited to see DC characters share the screen in one epic battle, but my point remains

xXBlondieVanHarlowXx3760d ago

The Avengers were created in 1963 because of the huge success of the Justice League in 1960 & now the Justice League film is finally moving forward because of the Avengers... I uh. There was a point to this lol. Eh whatevs, big whoop.
