Toronto Sun:
Geek god Joss Whedon is back in the spotlight -- if he ever actually left it -- thanks to word that The Avengers spin-off TV series S.H.I.E.L.D. on the fast track to production, and the revelation that he was approached to direct Star Wars: Episode VII but had to turn it down due to his commitment to the Avengers sequel.
I like Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk and the rest of the gang, and I also would have loved to have seen Whedon's take on a galaxy far, far away. But there aren't enough superheroes or star warriors in the whole wide 'verse to make me forget Whedon's most lovable team of misfits and malcontents.
No, Scoobyphiles, I don't mean Buffy, Angel and Sunnydale's slayers, slackers and supernatural citizens. I'm talking about Capt. Mal Reynolds, Zoe, Jayne and the rest of Firefly's family of spacefaring ne'er-do-wells.
Mother of the Bride Review: The rom-com follows soon-to-be wedded couple, RJ & Emma and the chaos that ensues when their former lover parents come across.
Dark Matter Review: Although some of its runtime might be quite dense, there are moments in this sci-fi series that leaves you at the edge of your seat.
Down The Rabbit Hole Review: The movie has few, if any, moments that make you laugh, and it feels like it was rushing to its conclusion.
I am one of those fans that will never get over the fact that they cancelled it too soon. I guess it was a little ahead of some people's minds.
I would give anything for him to at least do another movie of them at least but who knows what may happen.
We'd love you to return to it too. Please do.
Please make this happen!!!!
