As soon as the “Then” portion from this week’s Supernatural started up, I had a good feeling about the episode. Going all the way back to the earliest seasons of the show, the clips from previous episodes focused on John Winchester and the job of “saving people, hunting things” that he had trained his sons to do. Sam and Dean have saved a lot of people and hunted a lot of things since the beginning of the series, but with the introduction of Henry Winchester, their paternal grandfather, we were introduced to a new side of the supernatural battle.

City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
This was an interesting episode. I was a little confused at first then I understood that it was John's father and things started to make sense.
