Les Miserables Is The Ugliest Blockbuster In Years

Les Miserables may be attracting widespread critical acclaim and numerous award nominations – but FMV Magazine's Jonathan Lamb argues that the movie is badly let-down by its woeful direction, editing and cinematography. (Cinema, Les Miserables)

This might explain the lack of a Best Director nomination for Tom Hooper.

I totally disagree with this. I guess you just have to be a fan of musicals and not all musicals are good but this one is.....but everyone has a right to their own opinion.

i watched this film and i strongly disagree. this film is a very very good film. it wont be nominated for best picture if its not good. and i know a lot of blockbusters that a far inferior than les miserables.
