Clickonline writes: "It remains definitively inferior to 2001s The Fellowship of the Ring (arguably the best fantasy film of the millennium) and drags its feet for its opening hours, contributing to that bloated running time. But there’s potential in the new paths it forges and plenty of adventures left before this hobbit can find his way home."
Dark Matter Review: Although some of its runtime might be quite dense, there are moments in this sci-fi series that leaves you at the edge of your seat.
Beautiful Rebel Review: Biography on Gianna Nannini's life is a hit and a miss.
Secrets Of The Neanderthals Review: This documentary is very interesting for people who are interested in anthropology. It is also engagingly produced, making it highly captivating.
To be fair it must be hard to make one book into three films but if there's one man that can do it when it comes to Tolkien's work it's Jackson. I think one of the things you have to do when you watch this film is make sure you don't over compare it to LOTR. That was TDKR's biggest problem, everyone just kept going on about how it wasn't as good as TDK. I just hope after The Hobbit trilogy Jackson tries to do something with the Similarion and Unfinished Tales.
I hated LoTD's premise. Sauron had reason to be pissed. He got murdered and his property was stolen. Bilbo,Smegal.....should have been arrested for possession of stolen property. Frodo should have been arrested for stolen property and attempted vandalism for trying to destroy the ring.grrrrrr!
