Brave Blu-ray Review - WGTC

Jeremy of We Got This Covered wrote, "Disney and Pixar team up yet again for another animated film that promises to entertain the young ones while offering up enough wit, humor and mature themes to keep the adults engaged and not completely upset about their trip to the theater. Brave isn’t their best effort, but it deserves much more credit than it has been given, because it’s a visually stimulating spectacle that offers up a traditional story mixed with a little a new-age twist that reminds us why we trust Disney and Pixar to always deliver the goods, despite their Cars 2 fumble."

After watching the special features, I can't help but feel they had a better movie in the works, but the scenes were altered and changed.

I think it was a fun little film, but was expecting "more" and a bigger adventure. A lot of things were simply touched on, and after watching the special features they were trying to portray an entirely different story than what I got. Something about respecting what she already had? When did she complain she didn't have something?

I just think Pixar's streak of "best animated" movie will end this year. Most likely it will go to Wreck It Ralph, Disney animation has deserved the award since Tangled.

This movie was very disappointing.
Really, it was. It had a strong premise with great characters that could have headed up a fantastic story, but...it just feel flat.

i seriously had such a huge hope for this movie... i thought this was an out and out action movie... only to find out that it was nothing but a story about an irish speaking girl with a little girl issue. stoopid trailers. /:
