Though we’ve already seen roughly 37 mini-trailers for the upcoming second season of American Horror Story, a new trailer has now landed online that features a great deal of actual footage from the show. As you may or may not know, AHS is an anthology series and this season’s storyline takes place in an insane asylum in 1964. This trailer shows a few promising bits as well as some scenes that hint toward some of the more over-the-top leanings of co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck. Jessica Lange looks to be having some fun as the asylum’s head nun, and we also get a peek at the present day frame story with Adam Levine and Jenna Dewan Tatum.

I really didn't think this show could get any stranger than it was last season but I guess I was wrong. For anyone that has never seen it...just FYI, if you can't watch every week you will miss something important and be lost as to what is going on. I myself am not sure if I should even start watching if I can't commit to every episode.
