A pioneering inventor has passed away; Eugene Polley the inventor of the TV remote died Sunday. Those of us who have stacks of remotes for our electronics devices throughout our homes should give this man a moment of silence and reflection on where we would be without him. Oh yeah, getting up to change the channel or hitting play on the dvd.
The Idea of You Review: Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine's electric chemistry is thoroughly enjoyable in simple, fluffy romantic film.
Heeramandi Review: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic is a mesmerising watch, filled with revenge and the struggle for love and power.
Fiasco Review: This series is weirdly good at making you laugh and roll with its absurdity.
There were also those channel boxes for a while too, where a brown box had 20 or so buttons on it with a cable connected to the cable box/tv to change the channels. Anyone over 40 remember those?
*takes off hat and holds it to chest*
