Batman on Film
BOF has heard some whispers that an adaptation of the animated TV series BATMAN BEYOND is on the table when it comes to the upcoming Batman on film reboot.
Dark Matter Review: Although some of its runtime might be quite dense, there are moments in this sci-fi series that leaves you at the edge of your seat.
Beautiful Rebel Review: Biography on Gianna Nannini's life is a hit and a miss.
Secrets Of The Neanderthals Review: This documentary is very interesting for people who are interested in anthropology. It is also engagingly produced, making it highly captivating.
I think this would be a mistake if they really plan to make a Justice League series. I can't see this iteration of Batman working there.
I loved this show. XXXD
Way too early to even think about a reboot, but why not? I mean I am open to that idea.
Much as I'd LOVE to see a Batman Beyond film, I don't see it working well in conjunction with a Justice League film. Sure, it would obviously be Old Batman becomes young Batman, but I just can't imagine feeling the right kind of connection to the character if that's the case. Unless they use Nolan's Batman for the Justice League film (which I think they should).
I really don't see the need to reboot Batman, even if they want to take him in a different direction to Nolan's, do they really need to tell the origin story again? Maybe that's where I'm getting hung up on the idea. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to it.
And yes, a Batman Beyond film please!
Unfortunately, I see still haven't watched (or at least recall watching) any of the Batman Beyond episodes yet so I can't say whether this could be good or bad.
I'll trust what the others have stated above, for now.
